On Monday, July 10th from 8pm - 11pm EST, I'll be playing music specially formulated to get your feet moving and your booty shakin'. Join me at Pocket D, wear your dance clothes and find someone or someones to grind against!

Not just problems this eve, but EXTREME problems! Next week will return to an open request night and I'll be doing some massive system maintenance so hopefully the requests will actually play. Here's the songs that I actually made it most of the way through.
1. Attercap - Intro (0:53)
2. David Bowie - Let's Dance (Club Bolly Extented Mix) (7:56)
3. Wedding Singer - Dance Floor (0:04)
4. Atomic Kitten - Bamboo (Goleo's Dance Mix) (The Official Melody of the 2006 FIFA World Cup) (3:10)
5. Palast Orchester - Around The World (La La La La) [Dance Mix] (5:34)
6. The Cape - Station ID: DJ Cyclos (0:30)
7. C+C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) (The Slammin' Vocal Club Mix) (6:49)
8. Men Without Hats - The Safety Dance (Extended Version) (4:34)
9. U2 - Mysterious Ways [Solar Plexus Club Mix] (4:10)
10. The Thompson Twins - Hold Me Now (Remix) (7:05)
11. Animal House - Over? (0:33)
12. New Order - Bizarre Love Triangle (6:42)
13. The Cape - Station ID: DJ Cozmic (0:21)
14. Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls (Sasha Mix) (7:45)
15. Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round (4:28)
16. Julee Cruise With The Flow - Artificial World [Interdimensional Mix] (5:08)
17. Deee-Lite - Power Of Love (Turn Up The Radio Mix) (4:01)
18. The Cape - Station ID: DJ Aerial (0:29)
19. Scissor Sisters - Filthy/Gorgeous (3:52)
20. Little Trees - Help! I'm a Fish! (3:11)
Believe it or not, that still made up 2 hours of music. Dance remixes take up some time!

And it was sounding so good. I've noticed some weird things with the latest version of Winamp. Supposedly it has some security fixes, but it seems to be more resource hogish, and tends to hang at times (at least for me). Also I noticed a new security service from GEAR technologies after install. Just a few things I've noticed.
Hope you get the system back up to full strength soon.

WinAmp does seem to be getting bulkier and bulkier. I need to get back to architecting and coding my own MP3 player/broadcaster, I think. I was actually running an earlier version of WinAmp, so it wasn't the latest version that was fouling me up. Shortly after the broadcasting issues I had a complete network crash. I rebooted my server, router and entire network and should be hunky-dory for next week.

Oh sure, blame the network. come on admit it. You had a couple catgirls over and they kept playing with the cables.

Anybody remember when my cat killed my show? She unplugged my LAN cable rubbing her face against it.
And then I got kittens who liked to play under my computer and they'd step on the power button of my surge protector and turn everything off.
Cats are evil.

Cats are evil, but catgirls are delightful!

My cats aren't, they protected me from being taken over by the Knives of Artemis. And while they do sometimes hinder more than help, its because they are trying to help, so I won't complain.
Besides, 9 against one is not good odds, even if half are outdoors and half are indoors.
