i'm most likely going this year... dunno about sharing a room though. mostly because i snore...

I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn, arriving thursday and leaving monday morning. I expect I'll be driving myself up.
I have a small car, and it is highly cluttered, so I am not really a source for car-pooling. Besides that, I'm not much
of a city driver.

I'm gonna make it this year, I think. I'll probably be driving, but it will likely be my truck, so not much room. I'm coming from the Florida Panhandle, so If there's any carpooling, I'd consider it.

It's been a while since I did this. I'm assuming reserving a room requires a CC#, but won't actually require that I has to have the funds in it at the time, right? (Or like, it just has to have at least a dollar or two for a verification charge?)

Yes. Usually they don't charge your card until you check out, so they can add on any room charges you accumulate, like room service or movie rentals. I've even reserved a room with one CC and paid with a completely different one, they had no problem with it.

I am planning on making it up a day or so earlier than last time, just to have some time to hang out and be with people before the main events begin as last year was such and in and out rush job for me.

Is there anyone with crash space available until my room partner (Ascalon) arrives from Florida and I move to the Holiday Inn?

Well I was hoping of making it in Thursday that week myself and leaving ether Monday or Tuesday. Last years I pretty much flew in Friday morning and left Sunday Morning, it wasn't enough time to do anything besides the Meet and Greet.

Alas, I shall have no vacation time to take... and I work weekends... but I'm gonna save up my res-hols and my regular vacation for 2013.

Presuming the world doesn't end this December.

Anyway, think of me slaving away over the weekend as you guys soak up all the alcohol in the greater part of Illinois and on Monday you can come see me for a quick Librium detox. Shots will be prepared and ready for poking.

I'm gonna miss y'all.
