Well, its been a while since I posted here, so here's my update.
1. I have a job now and it keeps me pretty busy, usually I don't get home til pretty late. I'm supposed to work from 3:30 pm - 9:30 pm, but usually don't get off work until about 11 pm - 12 am.
2. I've started playing a few old games that I felt the need to get back to and playing a few others. I've gone back to playing FFXIII, that way I can get to FFXIII-2, but it won't be for a while since I'm still farming the Palamecia for credit and incentive chips.
3. I've been watching all kinds of stuff on TV, I've really gotten hooked on Defiance, awesome show.
4. I recently bought the Defiance MMO, which, in case you don't know, coincides with the show, as things happen in the show, they happen in the game and vice versa. I've even read, and heard that it might be possible for characters players create to appear in the show, but I haven't seen or heard anything else on that. I actually made an Irathiant Outlaw, and the game is fun, plus, no subscription fee, which is awesome.
5. I'm trying to cope with the fact that this Friday I'll be 30 ... As if I needed a reason to let myself get drunk this coming weekend, turning 30 is a good reason.
Oh, and one more thing, back during CoX I was losing a lot of weight, and I still am. When I started CoX, I weighed 265 lbs. I am now down to 160, which was 150, but I've gained ten pounds back, which is a good thing, I have definitely slimmed down quite a bit, I can still wear 34/34 Jeans, but without a belt they fall off, maybe I should look into getting 33/34's, it might help.
Anyway, you guys will still hear from me on here occasionally, and well, you can always find me on facebook if you wanna say hi.
Other than that, I haven't been up to much else, my book is still on hold, I don't have time to write much these days, nor do I have much time for video games, but, I play what I can, when I can.

Hey there Dragon, what's up. Hey your always got a family here, so yeah always keep in tough. *hugs* Yeah I was looking into the Defiance MMO as well as the TV show. I am still getting a feel for the show, but what I can see so far, it is pretty good show. Now that I see the game is a no subscription required, I may have to try that game out. I read up on some of the details of the characters, weapons, and such, seems there is some potential to this game. Hopefully, if I do go with trying out the Defiance game, hope that I might run into you there. Just remember all your Arks and Artifacts belongs to me. hehe : Anyways good to hear from you and good to hear you doing well. Cora

Thanks Cora, and yeah, no matter what happens the capesters and the cape dj's are always gonna be family to me. No matter where I go, what games I play, you guys will always be here to talk to. As for Defiance, my character is a Female Irathiant Outlaw named Shi'ara, I'm lvl 2 with Bolt Action Sniper Rifles and Pistols, might've even hit level 2 with machine guns. Wouldn't surprise me considering how many times that damn Bioman with a grenade launcher took me out. But, in the end, and after several incapacitations, I took him down, I hated that chain gun, powerful yes, but it moved way too much on long bursts. So I learned something, fire heavy machine guns in short bursts, run, roll, crouch, and move a lot, and when you have a chance, fire a few quick bursts, but keep moving, even though it is really hard to keep your aim and move at the same time.
Oh, and you do have to create a Trion Worlds account, but you don't have to put a cc or anything in it to play it. You can use real money to buy certain special stuff in Defiance, but, with the amount of weapons and stuff you get, you don't need to buy anything other than the game itself. Its got a $60 price tag, but from what I've played of it so far, I like it, and I'm not a fan of shooters. Its a lot like Mass Effect, you get no melee weapons (that I know of) but its still a fun game, and its challenging.

Yeah, they've been going well enough, might not be able to make it to capecon this year though, unless I can get my boss/brother, to give me a little time off to go hang out with you guys and Rock the house at the karaoke bar. But hey, if not this year, maybe next year. We'll see what happens. Oh, and correction on my Ark Hunter's name, its Shai'Ara, I was close but couldn't remember it exactly lol. I'm still getting used to the game though, and the map is huge so its really hard to find my way around, I've also learned that I've gotta be the worst driver of a Runner ever. Good way to get around, but hard to steer those things. Anyway, yeah, if anyone ever finds themselves in Paradise/New Earth, just look for the red headed Irathiant woman with a Sniper rifle, running into battle like a crazy person or driving like a maniac on her Runner, and running into everything ... and Running over mutants, that'll most likely be me

One thing I can say I'm good at in Defiance is, well, I'm one hell of a shot, I get a lot of critical kills by shooting my enemies in the head, but I still need to get that ever painful, but always amusing shot to the groin. Wonder if Groin shots count as critical kills :p, or if the mutants can survive a groin shot.

Um ... I think I should find a hiding spot before Detra Realizes its my birthday ... Great, 30 years old now, and I just want to hide somewhere and have a few Shiner Bock's until this day is over.
Anyway, yeah, things are going alright all in all. Just having a few second thoughts about continuing on with my job, or if I should move on to something else. I do have a friend working for another call center like I used to do, doing the same stuff we both did before. Could be a good opportunity, just don't know if I want to go back into call center work again.

Okay, so my birthday was fun, well, the weekend after my birthday was. I had to work this past friday, which was my b-day, but Saturday I went to America's which had a really good steak, and then I had a little birthday party here at my place where I had some good, home cooked food, which isn't something I get very much anymore because I work so late. Then, today, I went to Best buy to spend a gift card and a little of my own money to give my computer a small upgrade. Bought a new 2 gig stick of Ram, so now my pc is running on 4 gigs of ram, which has improved my computer's speed. Guess it was time to get a new stick of ram after all.
Oh, and I used another gift card for amazon.com and bought Seasons 3 and 4 of The Slayers. I have the first two seasons, and I've had them for quite a few years now, so I figured it was about time for me to get the next two seasons, I'll get the fifth season another day.
Okay, new announcement/update, I applied at another call center the day before my birthday, and they contacted me back via email the next day and asked me to call them to schedule an interview, but since I was having a pretty busy weekend I didn't get a chance to call them until yesterday, but the recruiter had just logged out to leave for the day, so she said she'd call me back today. She called me back, I missed the call, so I called her back, and she was still on lunch, so I waited a little longer and called again, and finally got to talk to her longer. I scheduled the interview for 10:30 AM next Wednesday. Which will give me time to get there, do the interview process and come home for a bit to change clothes and get to my current job on time. I have to admit, as much of my sanity as I lost at my previous call center job, I am excited about the interview for the new one. I hope I get the job because I can be happy. I told my brother/current boss that I have to take this opportunity for myself. I know it sounds selfish but the only way I can be happy with myself is to take this opportunity and get the job on my own merit, and not because someone just gave it to me. If I get the job I'll know its because I earned it just because of well, me.

Okay folks, so, this morning (as in Monday the 3rd) I think I had like, a mini panic attack because I was so nervous about my upcoming interview. It was pretty freaky, I've never had my nerves hit me that hard before, but I turned out to be okay, it just took me a bit to collect my thoughts and calm myself. I'm seriously hoping this works out for me, true its a longer drive from my house to the place I applied, but if it works out, it'll be great. I'm still nervous and excited about the opportunity because, well, I already have the experience, it'll just take a bit of a refresher to get back into the swing of working for a web hosting call center, besides, I could use the benefits it'll more than likely offer.
I'd like to get back into that kind of work environment, and I'd love to have something to make a career out of that will take good care of me and let me be excited to come to work. I'll also be around a few old friends from my old call center job. It'll just suck to get up at like, 8 AM just to make sure I have enough time to get ready and get to the interview on time, if not before, which will most likely be the case, as long as traffic cooperates with me, then again, traffic in Houston, Tx SUUUCKS! Then again, I think traffic everywhere sucks, but that's not the point lol. Anyway, yeah, I'm alright now, still extremely nervous, but also really excited.
The interview is on Wed the 5th, so hopefully it'll work out for me. I'll let you guys know how it goes after I get out of the interview and out of my current job for the day. I want to say this is probably the biggest interview of my life because if it works out, I think I'll be there for a very long time and be happy with it, not because of the job itself, but because I'll know I got it by myself and earned my place there, that's more rewarding to me than anything. If you can't do something on your own, how can you possibly be happy with yourself? At least that's the way I feel about it.
I'll talk to you guys later, I think its about time for me to get some rest. catch ya later.

Okay, I had my interview today, I am confident that I did very well in it and I'm confident that I got the job, even though they said they would call me in a couple of days to tell me if I got the job or not.
I feel good about it though, I hope it works out and I look forward to hearing back from them, and its only like, a thirty minute drive, as oppose to the hour that I thought, then again, it depends on traffic really, they said they'd need people for the early or overnight shift, they asked me if I could do either one and I said that either would work for me because I'll always get where I need to be, when I need to be there.

Okay, so, that job I've been talking about on here, well, I got it, true the latest email didn't specifically say 'you're hired' it did say 'Call us to discuss an offer' and well, if that isn't saying 'You're Hired' then I don't know what is.
Anyway, I tried calling the recruiter but she was either at lunch, or really busy because I couldn't get a hold of her. Anyway, I left a message for her to call me back, so I'll probably hear back from her in the morning. I can't wait to find out when they want me to start.
