Reminds me of a long night when I worked 911 years ago. Got a call from a very flaming guy who wanted us to send a cop out to pick up his boyfriend who'd been beating on him. Guy was calling from a payphone downtown and couldn't give us a location of the boyfriend. He kept calling back and screaming at me to send a cop out to drive around greater Sacramento to various possible places the boyfriend might be.

A couple hours later I got a call...from the boyfriend. With an entirely different version of the story. Looking back on it now, I laugh. At the time, it was headache material.
