Here's how they stand at the present time:

The bladderwort Utricularia sends up its flower stalks

The Drosera burmannii sundews are also in flower.

The hot pink Sarracenia x "Dana's Delight" is still Grooving!

A snake nest of Sweet Trumpet Sarracenia rubra.

An overview of the pitcher plants. Note the tall White Trumpet Sarracenia leucophylla trap.

The Hooded Pitcher Plant Sarracenia minor is cranking out even taller leaves than last year.

Last, my Cape Sundew clump with the remains of a flower stalk.

Hurmmm I could use a plant or 2 for my porch. What do you suggest for something easy to take care of?

Cape sundew. Those things are freakin hard to kill. Even when they "die", the surviving root fragments will send up their own new plants. That's how I ended up with that huge clump.

Here's a good place to buy them from: http://www.californiacarnivores.com/capesundews.aspx

And this is the best book on how to grow any carnivore: http://www.californiacarnivores.com/thesavagegardenbypeterdamato.aspx

Leaves max out at about 4 or 5 inches long.
