Otherwise known as a list of songs I will never play again (outside of about half a dozen decent ones)

Check out the list on Billboard.com, the descriptions are amusing. I didn't have time to read them all on the air.

My word.

I recognize only 2 of those tracks! o.o

(and 1 of those 2 makes me want to stab myself in the ears with ice picks).

Much of it was truly awful. OTOH, it offered a wonderful opportunity for commentary in the Cape channel.

Yes, this proved to be an exercise in just how bad the "mainstream" music industry has been over the last decade.

I may have been okay with that Eiffel 65 track if I hadn't heard it so often. Now it just makes me wanna twitch and stab stuff.

"A Thousand Miles" I still like.

Wow.

I've heard so many of these, and most of them have been atrocious. Especially "Laffy Taffy." There's a special place in Hell for D4L, purely for their lousy bassline.

"You're Beautiful" is great for torturing people by singing the refrain loudly.

"Mambo No. 5" is still vaguely palatable.

DJ Sammy? Pull their DJ card. Now.

MIMS: "You ain't 'cause you not" turned out to be prophetic, didn't it, junior?

Jibbs: This was funny in small doses. Now? Not so much.

Hinder: This was okay, until you let that country group play it. And even then, it got stale because other tracks didn't come up to this song's relative cromulence.

So long, Providence, Hello, Detroit.
