I can haz job!

Today I started a new job as a part-time seasonal portrait studio photographer, with a chance they may keep me on after the holidays. I'm told I could be working anywhere from 10-40 hours a week, depending on how busy we are, and it will get busier as people start coming in for photos to use as Christmas cards and gifts. My manager is going to try to make sure I'm off by 4pm every Friday, but if we get super busy and I'm needed, obviously I'm going to stay and work and will have to miss my show. I should know in advance though, since we're by appointment only, so I'll have time to let you all know and hopefully find coverage.

However, I also got a call from a recruiter for a full time job in the next town over, working 8am-4:30pm, so if I got that one, I'd need to work evenings and weekends at the studio, which may cut into my show times, at least for November and December. But that's getting ahead of myself a bit, since I have no idea if that job will pan out or not. We'll see what happens!

For now though, I should still be around in my regular time for the most part, but you'll probably see a lot of randomness and requests since I'll have less time to put theme shows together. Oh darn, huh?
