An attempt to recruit someone got to chatting, which lead to them suggesting The Cape, had always half-thought about getting you guys involved in a few events we've run, but never quite got around to it. Then sort of got in gear, found you on Google, found this thread and thought it was an awesome idea.

1. What is the name of your group?

Kindred Nocturnis

2. Is your group a hero group or a villain group?

Hero

3. How structured is your group (i.e.: does it have duties assigned to ranks, a mandatory SG uniform, regularly scheduled meetings, that sort of thing)?

Due to the nature and theme of the group, there is no standard uniform. Meetings are called on an as needed basis, be they IC or OOC meetings. Higher ranking members of our SG are responsible for creating RP and plot developement withing our SG, as well as recruitment.

4. Is your group focused on roleplay?

Yes.

5. Is your group focused on PVP?

No.

6. Does your group have a focus other than roleplay or PVP?

Aside from RP, our focus is on intensive storytelling within the plot of our SG, as well as enjoying the game in general. I will usually try put together a TF on a nightly basis, or an MA arc relative to the SG.

7. If your group has a theme (Silver Age, Golden Age, futuristic, arcane, etc.), what is it?

Our group integrates White Wolf's Old World of Darkness mythos into the CoX gameworld and lore. Specifically, Vampires. The group encompasses all sects and clans and works to create a dynamic story within itself.

8. Is your group limited to specific archetypes and/or origins? If so, what are the limitations?

Yes and No. We generally ask members to have powers that are justifiable by the clan their toon is part of.

9. Does your group have a background posted anywhere? If so, where? (please provide a direct link)

No, not really, as the nature and theme of the group does not particularly call for it. However, it does have a history dating back over a year when it existed on Infinity. About five months ago I brought the group over to Virtue.

10. If your group has a motto, what is it?

The group does not have a motto.

11. Does your group have a fully functional base (Teleporters, Medical, Storage, etc.)?

The group has a very large and fully featured base with teleporters to most zones, medbays and workshops and the like. The building project is still ongoing however.

12. When was your group founded?

It's original incarnation was on the infinity server, under a different name. That was about two years ago!

13. Does your group have a regular play time, like a weekly SG night?

Members of our SG are active daily and tends to peak at night (Go figure! xD). There are usually no scheduled, weekly events. However we do schedule special events for things like AE arcs or SG meetings.

14. Are there any other important details you'd like to supply about your group?

Everything you need to know about our group can be found here at our GP site: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?G ... ID=2512115

15. Is there a particular song or type of music you'd like featured in your SGA?

Going with the theme of the SG, music from the likes of kidneythieves or genitorturers, or other goth metal/rock bands would be appropriate.

16. Are there any specific DJs you'd prefer to have announcing your group? If so, please list them.

None in particular as i'm not familiar with most of the DJ's. Whoever you feel would be best suited for this sort of theme :)

17. What is your group's website URL?

Once again that's: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?G ... ID=2512115

18. Who is your in-game contact person for recruitment? What is their global handle?

You may contact me personally in-game. My local is Ridia Bledpetal and my Global is @Aelya

19. Is there a particular DJ you would like to have producing your SGA?

Again, not familiar with most of the DJ's, so whoever you feel could be best suited for this sort of ad.

20. Finally, how did you hear about our station's Super Group Advertising Service?

I was just listening to an easter even show and I decided to pop into the forums on a whim and discovered this thread, and thought it would be a great way to support you guys while attracting interested persons to our SG.

Legionnaires

2. Is your group a hero group or a villain group?
Hero

3. How structured is your group (i.e.: does it have duties assigned to ranks, a mandatory SG uniform, regularly scheduled meetings, that sort of thing)?
Very structured. We have clearly defined ranks with corresponding duties, an SG uniform at level 30 (required at all SG events), and weekly meetings

4. Is your group focused on roleplay?
Yes, we consider ourselves a roleplaying supergroup. New applicants go through an in-character recruitment and interview process. We require a full bio upon interview completion.

No, though our members may participate in PvP.

6. Does your group have a focus other than roleplay or PVP?
No.

7. If your group has a theme (Silver Age, Golden Age, futuristic, arcane, etc.), what is it?
We prefer "traditional" hero types, but judge on a case-by-case basis. No extremes though (zombies, etc.), please.

8. Is your group limited to specific archetypes and/or origins? If so, what are the limitations?
No.

9. Does your group have a background posted anywhere? If so, where? (please provide a direct link)

Not really, though we have a core group that tends to play a lot during weekday evenings (and late night).

14. Are there any other important details you'd like to supply about your group?
We hold weekly costume contests on Saturday nights around 9pm Eastern.

15. Is there a particular song or type of music you'd like featured in your SGA?

No preference. We trust your judgment.

17. What is your group's website URL?
http://legionnairesofvirtue.guildportal.com

18. Who is your in-game contact person for recruitment? What is their global handle?
Patience Lee (@Patience Lee)

19. Is there a particular DJ you would like to have producing your SGA?
Again, you are the professionals. We'll let you decide.

20. Finally, how did you hear about our station's Super Group Advertising Service?
By being a regular listener to the Cape, of course!

SGA Application: Next Gen
(Something I wanted to do for two years now...)

http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?G ... ID=2041814
_________________

1. What is the name of your group?

Next Gen

2. Is your group a hero group or a villain group?

Heroes and Vigilantes

3. How structured is your group (i.e.: does it have duties assigned to ranks, a mandatory SG uniform, regularly scheduled meetings, that sort of thing)?

The group is very structured. Officers have duties both IC and OOC, menbers are split over different ranks that show which division they belong to (School/Heroes/Black Ops Division). We have a non-mandatory SG-Uniform and run schuduled events almost every week.

4. Is your group focused on roleplay?

Yes. We got casual players who just go for the "save the world with a witty line on your lips" types to hardcore RPers who spend hours just hanging out with each other in the base.

5. Is your group focused on PVP?

No, PVP mostly just happens for RP reasons (as half of us are violently opposted to text fighting).

6. Does your group have a focus other than roleplay or PVP?

We mostly run PVE groups, either with the normal content but mostly with a focus on the mission Architect. We have whole storylines centered around our very own villain groups and archenemies who get to smack us around in there (or we them if things go well...).

7. If your group has a theme (Silver Age, Golden Age, futuristic, arcane, etc.), what is it?

Futuristic Iron/Dark Age of comic books.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_Age_of_Comic_Books
I'd hesitate to use "dark" since while we do have some pretty nasty storylines the whole theme is still rather hopefull and about working for a better future.
If I had to describe the group in a nutshell I would say mix New X-Men, X-Force and Cyberforce and take out some of the angst.

8. Is your group limited to specific archetypes and/or origins? If so, what are the limitations?

Yes. Next Gen only accepts characters with the mutation origin.

9. Does your group have a background posted anywhere? If so, where? (please provide a direct link)

Virtueverse:http://www.virtueverse.com/index.php/Next_Gen
Guildportal: http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=242667&TabID=2064523

10. If your group has a motto, what is it?

To save the future ... you must reshape the past..!

11. Does your group have a fully functional base (Teleporters, Medical, Storage, etc.)?

Yes. Maximum plot size, porters to all zones, a bazillion medipots, the crafting stuff and all that jazz. Also major RP space for all sorts of themes, from high tech command centers to campus ground, apartments, movie theater, a memorial park, etc.

12. When was your group founded?

2008

13. Does your group have a regular play time, like a weekly SG night?
The group has the most activity during evenings EST but a faction of west coaster keeps the lights on later and our euros make sure there's some activity during the day.

14. Are there any other important details you'd like to supply about your group?

Nothing that should go into an add I guess. *hides drama hammer behind back*

15. Is there a particular song or type of music you'd like featured in your SGA?

I was thinking of the "Suite from X2" which is so kind as to already start with a text about mutation but I defer to the way more creative people here.

16. Are there any specific DJs you'd prefer to have announcing your group? If so, please list them.

Well, by now almost three years ago DJ Sheky saved my butt then some SG member (of my old group back then) scheduled an event with you guys that no one else from us knew about and we somehow globbered it together in two hours. Since that success sort of gave me the courage to start my own group it would be cool if he were in the add. (That was with Shadefalcon in Evolution-X).

17. What is your group's website URL?

http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=242667&TabID=2041814
We had your banner on it since creation (which is about as long as I wanted to write this...)

18. Who is your in-game contact person for recruitment? What is their global handle?

Exeria (@Falke)
Lightnyng (@Wirraway)
Zero Chance (@Mundaine)

19. Is there a particular DJ you would like to have producing your SGA?

See 16. I'm not sure what the difference is and I didn't have coffee yet so my brain won't kickstart.

20. Finally, how did you hear about our station's Super Group Advertising Service?

You run adds for it all day ;)

1. What is the name of your group? The Entropy Legion

2. Is your group a hero group or a villain group? Villainous

3. How structured is your group (i.e.: does it have duties assigned to ranks, a mandatory SG uniform, regularly scheduled meetings, that sort of thing)? No uniforms or duties. We have regular RP nights and we schedule events and such as Badge Hunts, Trials, Strike Forces, and Raids. They are always in a RP context, never in a 'l33t style'.

4. Is your group focused on roleplay? Yes, we are a RP group

5. Is your group focused on PVP? No, but we try to do an occasional event that involves PvP. PvP is left to the individual's tastes. We focus on RP

6. Does your group have a focus other than roleplay or PVP? RP is our cornerstone, but we also do Badge Hunts, Trials, Strike Forces, and Raids as well. With any of these events we keep it in a RP context.

7. If your group has a theme (Silver Age, Golden Age, futuristic, arcane, etc.), what is it? I'd say we are more Silver Age in style, but we don't feel "dated" either. We also are able to intro a lot of light-heatred and comedic elements in our RP with a few RP elements and "constructs" that might be a bit unique on the Red-side and VGs in general.

8. Is your group limited to specific archetypes and/or origins? If so, what are the limitations? No limits

9. Does your group have a background posted anywhere? If so, where? (please provide a direct link) On Virtueverse.com and our Guild Portal site. The Virtueverse bio is http://www.virtueverse.net/wiki/Entropy_Legion

10. If your group has a motto, what is it? All Succumb, All Die!

11. Does your group have a fully functional base (Teleporters, Medical, Storage, etc.)? We have a fully functional base. We have all teleport beacons to all Red-side accessible areas, including RWZ. Medical facilities with an Auto-doc and various RP machines, even a Brain-swapping machine! We have a Loot storage area, which consists of 5 Salvage racks for members to access. A Supercollider for Tier III power/buff creations.

12. When was your group founded? March of 2010

13. Does your group have a regular play time, like a weekly SG night? Mondays and alternating Wed nights. Our starting core are Heroes with Hyperion Force, so we split Wed nights with them. We also schedule other days, our Calendar being up to date with all the current events.

14. Are there any other important details you'd like to supply about your group? Our group is dedicated to creating stories. We typically RP the dysfunctional people that villains would probably be like if they were real. We also try to do two-prong AE missions: A red-side mission where the villains hatch and start the plot, then a blue-side mission where the heroes get to respond and foil the villain plot.

There is also a lot more humor and comedy than you would expect in a VG. Most of the humor is self-deprecating. One running joke is that the Hideout is really held together by hope and prayer. Teleporters spark and vibrate and look like they are from 1950s salvage parts. Seeing vacuum tubes as part of equipment should not be a surprise. The main computer system, while powerful, is running on a modified Amiga OS. Stuff like that. While we are dangerous, we are also a bit of a joke.

15. Is there a particular song or type of music you'd like featured in your SGA? The closest thing to a theme song we have is from the movie 'The Incredible Hulk', the music 'Blonsky Transforms'.

16. Are there any specific DJs you'd prefer to have announcing your group? If so, please list them. No, we have no preference. All the DJs do a great job

17. What is your group's website URL? http://entropylegion.guildportal.com

18. Who is your in-game contact person for recruitment? What is their global handle? Radium Blight is the current sitting leader of the Legion. Global is @davpa. Any Legion member can be contacted to RP with. All members are listed in the Roster page of the Legion's site

19. Is there a particular DJ you would like to have producing your SGA? No, no preference.

20. Finally, how did you hear about our station's Super Group Advertising Service? Found it while posting an Event request, so I figured I'd take a minute to fill one out.

[Script approved in production as of 05.15.11 -- DJ Steel]

1. What is the name of your group?
The Lightning Strike Initiative, often shortened to LSI.

2. Is your group a hero group or a villain group?
Hero

3. How structured is your group (i.e.: does it have duties assigned to ranks, a mandatory SG uniform, regularly scheduled meetings, that sort of thing)?
Leaders and Officers will have assigned duties (hosting events, leading teams, the creation of the odd AE arc or two once in a while), while ranks below that are determined through activity (both IC and OoC). In an effort to keep from stifling creativity, SG uniforms are not enforced, but an SG costume is required, meaning at least one costume must be in any combination of SG colors (black, gold and/or white) while the costume itself can have any appearance whatsoever. Leaders/officers attend meetings twice a month, usually on Sunday afternoon/evenings, and SG-hosted raids, badge hunts, TF/SFs or other such events are scheduled upon members’ requests and/or availability.

4. Is your group focused on roleplay?
Heavy/Mature RP.

5. Is your group focused on PVP?
Not overly, though we can/will help with the creation and planning of PVP builds, and do occasionally head into PVP zones for badges, nukes, shivans, recipe hunting, etc.

6. Does your group have a focus other than roleplay or PVP?
IC/OoC mission arcs, badge hunts, and zone events, raids, and IC zone events, such as last year’s Astoria sweep (Original IC message. We enjoy doing things to help the CoX community at large.

7. If your group has a theme (Silver Age, Golden Age, futuristic, arcane, etc.), what is it?
Modern Age heroes, though we accept all forms of hero, and have a history of being a stepping stone for helping and housing vigilantes and rogues looking to turn their lives around for the better.

8. Is your group limited to specific archetypes and/or origins? If so, what are the limitations?
No limitations, whatsoever.

9. Does your group have a background posted anywhere? If so, where? (please provide a direct link)
http://www.virtueverse.net/wiki/Lightni ... Initiative , though it is currently under construction. We are likely to be updating it within the week.
http://lsi.guildportal.com , Currently under construction as well, but the banner is up!

10. If your group has a motto, what is it?
“Lightning only needs to strike once.”

11. Does your group have a fully functional base (Teleporters, Medical, Storage, etc.)?
Our base is stocked with all the usual accommodations and then some. Teleporters to every zone, medical, storage, invention/crafting tables, mission computers and a raid teleporter. We also have IC/RP based rooms such as an arcane library, group member dormitories with a fully stocked kitchen, ballroom, zen garden, and party room/club.

12. When was your group founded?
April, 2010

13. Does your group have a regular play time, like a weekly SG night?
Meetings and weekly TFs and events are posted and usually held on Sunday evenings, unless there is a request for another night in order to accommodate availability and schedules.

14. Are there any other important details you'd like to supply about your group?
LSI was originally formed as an offensive wing to the Midnight Refuge super group, the sword to its shield. When the better majority of those members became members of the LSI, it shifted gears into a rapid-response and threat-control group, deploying into city-zones to help turn back Rikti invasions, zombie outbreaks, and more recently, to help combat the Praetorian incursion attempts. It is actively led by Christian James (hero-name Xeden) as a part of the Global Defense Alliance alongside the Palladium Sentry, New Age Mutants, and Empire of Atlantis. Besides the rank of Leader and Officers, there is a third rank between them and the standard membership body: Knight. As an adopted member of a clan of fallen knights called the Chasers, Xeden holds the right to knight members of LSI he deems worthy enough to bear the title. These Knights are an “elite guard” unit within LSI, and he hopes to one day form a full clan of a dozen or more Knights in order to bring back the fallen clan’s legacy. The rank of Knight is necessary in order to become a full-fledged Officer within the group.

15. Is there a particular song or type of music you'd like featured in your SGA?
Unicorn, by Sawano Hiroyuki.

16. Are there any specific DJs you'd prefer to have announcing your group? If so, please list them.
Anyone is just fine, I have full faith in The Cape’s abilities. Though if there is any in-character speech, I wouldn’t mind helping lay down a few lines, I am an amateur voice actor who has prior experience with voicing group members.

17. What is your group's website URL?
http://www.virtueverse.net/wiki/Lightni ... Initiative
http://lsi.guildportal.com/

18. Who is your in-game contact person for recruitment? What is their global handle?
Group leader Xeden, @Two Across

19. Is there a particular DJ you would like to have producing your SGA?
Any will do.

20. Finally, how did you hear about our station's Super Group Advertising Service?
Through advertisements already in rotation on The Cape, and a recent discussion with @Alanari about possible avenues and opportunities for advertisement options.
