I'm still hovering at 185-190. Starting this weekend, though, I'm making a significant change in my diet. I'm cutting out all mammalian meats for a month. We'll see what pesco-vegetarian and adding Rock Band drumming back into my life does.

Well as of Sunday, I finally dropped back below 200. Still got a long way to go.

Rock Band drumming is one hell of a workout.

Haven't done quite as much drumming as I wanted, thanks to the heat (though Lego Rock Band is hella cute fun), but since switching to a pescetarian diet I've lost 5 lbs in two weeks. So, now I just need to get in some more exercise and I should be where I want to be in a month or so. I have noticed, though, that I'm eating a lot more pasta (whole grain or spinach noodles) in this diet. There just aren't a lot of veggie dishes that can keep for a full week, it seems.

Baked veggies dishes can usually keep a week or so.

That's a great idea. And, in my searches, I found this roasted vegetable stuffed peppers recipe, which I'll be trying this weekend.

I've made a veggie lasagna before that is basically just layers of noodles, cheese, tomato sauce, and various veggies. Very simple and easy to tweak to your own tastes.

And now that sounds really good, so I might have to take a little walk to Kroger and get some supplies for that this weekend.

Current Weight: 165
Goal Weight: 130
Loss/Gain: -13 (or -15, depending)

...and this was at the end of the day--after dinner (which was definitely not my regular diet).

Also, I found a natural soda called Zevia. It's made with Stevia and it's actually /really/ good. Don't believe for a minute that Dr. Zevia is anything like Dr. Pepper. Dr. Pepper has a bite to it and Dr. Zevia has a black cherry-ish flavor (and I'm not a cherry fan). I think I may have to get the Cola and Ginger Root Beer, too.

Good work, Angel!

I seem to be leveling off, though that may be because of a brief...blip in my diet this week. If my weight -is- stabilizing, I'm not too down about it. I looked in the mirror and could really see the changes to my body. I don't mind -gaining- weight at this point, as long as it's muscle, and I knew this tipping point was coming.

A certain amount of flab yet to go, but I'm pleased with the direction.

Unfortunately, I'm really stiff this morning from the gym, but I'm going to force myself back there to do at least a light workout today.

Totally went off the South Beach Diet (again), but that was due to the stress I was working under. I lost about 5lbs in a few days just from not being there (I'd put weight back on). I'm actually feeling light and airy and will begin working out this week! My short term goal is to drop to 145lbs by Halloween and down to 130 by Christmas.

I think I started this last winter, then took out my posts-not important why-

But since then, I was put on Cymbalta (for bipolar disorder and depression) and thyroid medication, with one enjoyable side effect..I lost about thirty pounds, gained some of it back this fall, and starting back down again...

Trying to get out and walk more, or run errands..not always easy when I'm depressed and low and wanting to hide from the world. Hopefully, I can lose more weight instead of gain it this winter. Hoping to get out to some malls, if only to windowshop and look at all the Christmas decorations- just wish I could find a church where I fit in...

I find one thing that does help me in losing weight is to substitute water for soda, especially at night... Did you know there is lots of sodium in those sodas? Even the diet ones?

I'd look into area non-denominational churches. They're usually pretty colorful and accepting from what I've heard.
