I've been thinking of doing a show filled with nothing but the theme songs of you, the listeners. Does one of your characters have a soundtrack? Is there something you hear in your head whenever you log in? tell me about it!
If it's weird or hard to find, please let me know where you got it so I can buy it too.

Misa Archer actually has two theme songs, both of them from Macross Frontier, but the one that would actually work for the show is the "Ranka at Formo" version of What 'Bout My Star. It's on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8nqGk5IYVM ) but a clearer version is available on the first Macross Frontier soundtrack CD.

I've given this one a lot of thought. The characters of mine that do have theme songs wouldn't be appropriate for your style of show. The ones that need a theme song, I can't come up with one. So, I've decided to list my personal theme song. The past two years have been trying, to say the least. This song was the one that came to mind after I got out of emergency surgery back in 2010 and it sums up my current status just nicely.

Elton John "I'm Still Standing"

Hah...not even eight hours later and I'm slapped in the face with a song that fits a character of mine perfectly and it might fit your show style. I found it when watching the new Secret World gameplay trailer.

The song is "Worldless (Siet and Norm Remix)" by I Will Never Be The Same, and the character it applies to is my former hero turned villain named Slipscream. He's an alien who's lost his home world to a catastrophic civil war.

If you would like to play this instead of Elton John, let me know and I'll get you the mp3.

The one you picked for Sully is pretty awesome.

I need to think about what would fit Bianca and Jennifer Henry, the only other two characters I play at the moment.

With Bianca, it's difficult because it really depends on which period of time you are talking about. When she was younger, it was probably something along the lines of Lacuna Coil's 'Falling,' but after her journey into the past, it probably shifts to something by Loreena McKennit, though I'd be hard pressed to give you a specific song title, since I generally just listen to McKennit without actually knowing what the titles of any of the songs are.

Oh, geez, I kept promising Valor I'd give her more to add to the list and then forgetting about it. So let me see if I can round up the themes I do have for characters on my roster, as of the start of Double XP Weekend. As you'll see, I tend to gravitate toward film, animation and video game soundtracks:

Comet Lady: "Angelus", composed and performed by Scott Taylor. From the soundtrack for Empire (previously known as Deep Angel), a science fiction project about futuristic supercavitating submarine combat. ( http://www.empirethefilm.com/Empirel_Sc ... ngelus.mp3 )

Starsong Idol: "Ai Oboete Imasuka" ("Do You Remember Love?") from the Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? movie, specifically a live piano version performed by Mari Iijima. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqR1VQdjYAw Anyone who really knows Lynn knows who she actually is, so this should be no surprise.)

Misa May (formerly known as Misa Archer): "What 'Bout My Star (Ranka at Formo)" from the Macross Frontier soundtrack ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8nqGk5IYVM ). As previously mentioned, she has a second theme: the "Bless the Little Queen" version of "Ai Oboete Imasuka", also from the Macross Frontier soundtrack ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5U7hFWBVA0 )

Arctisia: "Illusion" from the Final Fantasy X soundtrack, composed by Nobuo Uemaatsu. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vAWoR9ShuA )

Velvet Bombshell: "Decision (Setsuna's Theme)" from the Evil Zone soundtrack. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQHYZy5aXw4 )

Kakabel: "Main Title" from the 1984 David Lynch Dune film, composed and performed by Toto. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm4E4umP9Qc )

Mister Scary: Another with two themes, both by Dokken. The first is "Mr. Scary" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bSP8c3Apz4 ) (tell me you didn't see that coming). The second is "Don't Close Your Eyes" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzNdZAJt5p8 ).

Several of my characters, including those who don't have actual theme songs, have battle themes, but that's something for another thread.
