The Cape stream has been down for days, and the staff has been not only quiet, but conspicuously absent. Finally after almost a week a frantic DJ Angel contacts you, asking if you will help with a mission of utmost secrecy. The transmitter to the Cape has been stolen, and would you be willing to help the station get its heart back? Sounds simple enough, you say, and then she goes into detail. The transmitter has been broken into its components and scattered across time and space, and in an attempt to keep things quiet, virtually the entire staff of the Cape have been sent off in search of the parts. It’s been days, however, and Angel is getting worried. It’s never “days” in time travel. Are things just going that slowly? Or are the DJs of the Cape in trouble? It’s now up to you to find out.
Working with occasional leads from Portal Corp. and the recovered DJs themselves, you travel back in time to retrieve the transmitter components and the on-air staff from a fate worse than death – radio silence!
Assembling The Cape: Part the First - ID #411966 Assembling The Cape: Part the Second - ID #411967
Many many thanks go to the Cape Radio Street Team, especially Sardonic Paladin, Wyldnytes, Milieta, and Ascalon, for designing, editing, testing, and publishing the missions. The Street Team would also like to thank the Cape DJs for their assistance in creating (and inspiring) the arc. Please let us know what you think!

Did you get a chance to go through the anniversary AE arc, Assembling the Cape? If you did, thank you for the wonderful comments that we've received so far. We're glad you enjoyed your trip through time.
If you didn't get a chance, never fear! Assembling the Cape will be published through June 30th to give you a chance to enjoy the arc at your own pace and with whichever characters you wish.
I'd like to personally thank Ascalon, Milieta, and Wyldnytes for their extremely hard work on this arc; all the DJs for their assistance and contributions; and especially DJ Pyrria for her invaluable part in both producing the initial missions and in getting them formatted into the two-arc series that you're running.
So go! Have fun! And enjoy.

Is this arc solo friendly? What level is it set for?
I prefer to solo the complex AE missions, just so I can read all the dialogue at my leisure.

Agreed. I had a blast going through it with a team yesterday but didn't really have the time to really read the story elements. Glad I still have that chance.

Just a last minute reminder - if you haven't gone through the Cape's 6th Anniversary AE arc, there's still a few days left to do so! The arc will remain published through June 30th, and feedback is highly welcomed, so that we can let everyone who worked on the arc know what you thought.
One thing to let you know that we've discovered about the third mission on the first arc, without giving too much away. The enemies have stealth and DoT AoE effects, which play havoc with the allies that you may encounter within the arc. The ally AI states that if an AoE is thrown, their first programming is to get out of the range of the AoE, then return to their target player however possible while avoiding the AoE. With DoT AoE, however, this means that the allies tend to run madly around the AoE, trying to find a safe way to their target player, until the AoE fades. It also means that if there is a narrow passage that the AoE is blocking, the allies will not follow until the AoE fades. This means that the allies will tend to act erratically, and may get lost if the players proceed through a blocked narrow passage without the allies in tow. If this happens, you'll need to reacquire your allies.
We apologize for not having figured this out beforehand, but during our extensive testing it never seemed to be much of an issue until we published it. We also apologize for any frustration that you may experience due to this mission. Know that there have been others that have been likewise frustrated and have gotten through just fine.
Do not let this discourage you, however, from running the AE arcs! Watching the allies run about in terror wildly can be RP'd with a HIGH level of amusement, and has been! (And remember, there are TWO of them, so if you've only run the first, there are three more missions ahead of you!)

I just played through them last night, and I have to say there was much hilarity as it was on my Soldier of Arachnos with team toggles so I effectively became a DJ Mastermind as the enemies were creamed by boosted DJs long before I could fire a shot :7
...also I have me envy...I wanna play as grav/dual pistols....
