Just saw that for Davy Jones, "Daydream Believer" I did liked that song. Remembering the TV show The Monkey's, enjoyed watching it when I was a kid. Rest in Peace Davy...

I agree with you 100% Coz. If we keep loosing all these groovy people, then we're be loosing all our groove  We can't have that. The Groove must go on...

Ralph McQuarrie, oh man, he can come up with some great stuff in his painting, drawings and what not. I can remember "daydreaming" at some of the pictures he has done like below, Cloud City. Now why can't that be a real.

Rest in Peace fellas.

Down in my neck of the woods. I met him one afternoon while I was living in Rock Hill back in 2007. We ended up going to eat lunch at a backwoods bar-b-que place and spent the whole afternoon talking about blues and jazz music. I think he initially started talking to me because he heard me tell the librarian that my grandmother had died of Alzheimers. At the time, he didn't mention to me that he had the disease as well, but we did also talk quite a bit about what her last years were like, which is pretty telling now that he was curious about what was coming for him. He was probably one of the nicest old guys you'd ever meet on the planet.

The world lost a good man here.
