I have moved out of the old kitten lair and am building kitten lair II.If anyone wants stuff out of the old one, or new people want to move into it to get a headstart or something, it's that thing with "Here be kittens" posted on the front. Afraid I don't know the coords, though.

I'm now a bit remote, but have already had one wandering visitor, so my new digs are not impossible to find.

We're all on a not too large island and so far, we've mostly stayed confined to it as far as building goes, so people will run into the new Kitten Lair eventually.

Waxing theory on Minecraft psychology, as time goes on we're going to spread out more and more from the spawn point. People want space and resources to build up without running into other people's mines and such. But when someone wants to take the time to build something nice to show, they're going to want to do it nearer to spawn where more people will see it. Naturally that's going to mean asking to bulldoze abandoned structures and such. Much like real land development, density spreads out and then up. In the short time the server has been up, we've already built an incredible amount and I'm excited to see how far we can go.

I am not sure as to why the Nether gates are currently acting this way. It could be the way the server type is setup but i am not sure where that would be. And I'd rather not poke around with it in-case it breaks the gates further.
