Costume Contest - DJ Redesigns!

The Cape has been around for six years...and unfortunately, so have some of our wardrobes! A few brave DJs have volunteered to let their outfits be redesigned - so it's time to get to work!

What You Can Win:

1st place: One (1) night of teaming with a DJ or a DJ-lead SF/TF AND an appropriately-themed show AND 30 Million Influence/Infamy

2nd place: One (1) show of music programmed by a DJ AND 20 Million Influence/Infamy

3rd place: One (1) set of music programmed by a DJ AND 10 Million Influence/Infamy

How It Works:

- To enter, pick one (1) or more DJs
- Create a redesigned outfit
- Be present at the Cape's 6th Anniversary party!
- One of our DJs or Street Team Members will be taking screenshots of all costumes
- Make sure to provide your Global Name to the photographer!
- The screenshots will be posted in a thread for offline voting
- The voting will close on Friday, June 4, 2010
- DJs will show off the winning design the week of June 7, 2010

FAQs:

Q: May I redesign more than one DJ?
A: Yes! You may design new outfits for each DJ (there are 8!) or for only one or two. It is up to you.

Q: May I submit more than one redesign for a DJ?
A: No. Please pick your BEST design and submit that. You MAY submit designs for multiple DJs (see above).

Q: May I submit a redesign for a DJ that is NOT on the list?
A: No. To keep the contest manageable, we have limited the number of DJs for whom redesigns will be awarded prizes.

Q: Since I know I'm going to win, who can I pick to lead my Epic Night Of Teaming Pwnge?
A: Great Question! See below.

Q: What if I can't attend the party? I have some great ideas!
A: Fear not! We have a solution! Send a screenshot of your entry to CapeRadioContests@gmail.com. Make sure you include your global name and the name of the DJ you are redesigning in the body of the email. Entries without this information will not be included in the voting! Entries must be emailed by 11:59pm on Friday, May 28, 2010!

Since there have been a few questions about how MANY entries you may submit, here's a little clarification:

- There are eight (8) DJs up for redesign
- You may submit one (1) entry for EACH DJ
- Each entry will be tied to your Global Name

If you choose to redesign only three DJs, for instance, you would have:
- 1 entry for DJ Steel by @RedTail
- 1 entry for Kai by @RedTail
- 1 entry for DJ Angel by @RedTail

If you choose to redesign all the DJs, for instance, you would have:
- 1 entry for DJ Shecky by @RedTail
- 1 entry for DJ Steel by @RedTail
- 1 entry for Kai by @RedTail
- 1 entry for DJ Sultry Siren by @RedTail
- 1 entry for DJ Valor by @RedTail
- 1 entry for Agent Crypto by @RedTail

- Create your design!
- Take a screenshot!
- Email your screenshot to CapeRadioContests@gmail.com!
- Include your Global Name and the name of the DJ you are redesigning in the body of the email. Entries without this information will not be submitted for voting.
- Entries are due by 11:59pm on Friday, May 28, 2010! Entries that arrive after the deadline will not be submitted for voting.

There are a few caveats, of course:

- If you DO make it to the party, your email entry will not be used. We will use the screenshot obtained during the event.
- You may still submit a redesign for each and every DJ.
- You may still submit only ONE redesign for each DJ. Multiple entries will result in the most recent one being used.
